Fully refurbished set of 46mm S14b23 throttle bodies. Extensive restoration effort commenced of completely disassembling and ultrasonically cleaning all components. Stripping existing oxidized plating off steel components, polishing and replating in fresh zinc, mixed clear and yellow chromate where appropriate and original. All aluminum, brass components are vapor honed inside and out. Throttle shafts, plates and pivot arm vapor honed, polished.
New double sealed German throttle shaft bearings pressed into the housing (6 in total) Fully reassembled with new throttle plate screws and O-rings. Basic linkage rod settings made.
These are prepared to order and built from client provided cores sent in for service. Turn around time is 3-4 weeks. No cores or core exchange programs are available on this item.
Final setup, adjustment & manometer synchronization must be carried out once bolted securely to a cylinder head for optimal throttle response and runability.
Mounting hardware provided will be plated as pictured if bagged and included by the client at no additional cost.
