Used in the very first ABS equipped E30's, 1985-86. Double height trim rings at the bases of each solenoid is the clearest difference separating this pump variant from later versions. The very first had large black caps covering the lower hex plugs (as pictured), while later production ones used the same hole covers as every other variant. These covers are strictly cosmetic, do not affect operation, and may not be available as they are rare and prone to falling off. The earliest of E30 ABS pumps the first iterations of the BOSCH 0 265 200 013 has a redundant ground (pin #8) on the main chassis connector, and again on the solenoid relay which is characterized by 5 pins unlike the 4 pin used on later models. The solenoids on this pump are specific to the 013 series of pumps. The upper manifold plate was used on other vehicle models with top facing fluid exits and is plugged on this application. The cover shroud and chassis wiring hold down are secured with Flathead screws
