E30 - ZF Steering Rack

Fully restored concours quality aluminum body E30 steering rack ideal for enthusiasts restorations seeking a rebuilt rack while wishing to retain the original steering ratio. Production date stamp & part numbers on data plate will vary! All directly interchange.

• Completely disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned.
  
  
• Existing oxidized plating stripped off steel components, polished and replated in fresh zinc yellow chromate where appropriate and original. 
  
  
• All aluminum, steel components are vapor honed inside and out then smooth castings are finish polished in ceramic tumble media to replicate the original high luster finish.
  
  
• New INA or SKF bearings pressed into the housing as needed.
  
  
• Fully reassembled with new gaskets, radial seals and O-rings.
  
  
• Restored to concours quality with no "rebuilder gray paint" in sight.
